DISCOUNT FAIR TICKETS AVAILABLE: The Gloucester County Fair and Carnival will be held August 8-12 at Ark Park. Advance Carnival Ride Tickets are now on sale at Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
This $10 ticket entitles you to ONE UNLIMITED RIDE WRISTBAND. Yes, you can ride as many rides and as many times as you like during ONE of the following time frames:
Wednesday, August 8 – 6-10 pm Thursday, August 9 – 6-10 pm Saturday, August 11 from Noon to 5 pm Sunday, August 12 from 2 to 10 pm Simply redeem your ticket for a wristband at the Fair.

PARENTS PROGRAMS AT BETHEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Bethel Elementary School will host two upcoming presentations for parents. "Second Time Around," offered by Bethel Full Service School is a program for grandparents or others who are raising their grandchildren or other relations. Wednesdya April 18, 2007, 2:30 p.m. The group will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of each month. Debbie Richardson, a therapist with Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Counseling Center will facilitate the meetings. For reservations call Valerie Lewis at 693-0654.
